TO SERVE AND PROTECT

I’m a straight-talking, results-driven professional who rose to the top of the parks world by sheer work ethic, carving trails with my own hands before leading large-scale environmental projects. I don’t fit neatly into political labels—liberals assume I’m one of them because of my resume, while conservatives think I align with their values because of how I live. The truth is, I only care about results, the environment, the Constitution, and cutting through government inefficiency. I spent decades fighting bureaucrats who wasted millions blocking projects that would have provided simple joys—trails, lakes, and open spaces—for kids like me growing up. While I see the urgent need for climate resilience, I also reject the hypocrisy and incompetence on both sides. Now, as The Parksman, I’m dedicating my life to calling out the nonsense and fighting for truth and real solutions.
