I retired at 57 after a successful career in leadership, government, and public service. As the Parksman, I reached the top of my profession and thought I had most things figured out.

Then I retired.

Turns out, retirement isn't the end of learning. It's the beginning of an entirely different education.

I've reached a point in life where I have enough. I don't need another paycheck, title, or packed calendar. What I do have is curiosity, experience, a sense of humor, and the freedom to explore whatever interests me.

This website is an ongoing experiment in figuring out life after work. Expect thoughts on retirement, politics, society, family, golf, and whatever else gets me thinking.
